There is something called a walk about scooter where you place your casted leg up on the bench(with knee bent) and you use your other leg to move. It has handlebars and brakes like a walker. I tried to post a link but couldn't. Maybe Google scooter for broken leg. I know you can rent or buy them. Hope this helps!
