As Lara said--there are some great people on the Traumatic Brain Injury/PCS forum that could be of wonderful help to you. Honestly, I have found better help there than anything I have found in the medical establishment.

I am also (well, I was) a bit of a workaholic and very career oriented. I had to overcome that tendency to really try to really, truly recover from my head injury. In fact, in that aspect I think it has maybe changed my life for the better. I was not smart about aspects of my early recovery, but I do think that one can really help the later stages by slowing down.
