My problems started January 3rd and i made the classic mistake of googling symptoms. I was feeling weak with trembling/twitching. I saw a Neurologist, she did the Physical and for my peace of mind order an EMG. It was normal. EMG was done by an doctor with 40 plus years of experience. EMG was done on both legs and arms mid january

long story short i saw another 10 plus Neurologist. Some in USA and some in Pakistan. So in Pakistan a Neurologist said let's do another EMG. he did and said i have both als/bulbar at the same time. I was scared so i sent in my report to USA doctor. I was told that in January EMG i had no spontaneous activity and the 2nd EMG done in may also show no spontaneous activity. My usa doctor was Baffled that how a neurologist can Diagnose me when the most important thing he said we look at is the spontaneous activity when we insert the needle. 2nd emg was done on both arms and legs along with Bulbar region and back and no spontaneous activity

so this brings me to present. I came back to USA september 7th and saw 2 of my old Neurologist and both did complete clinical and said i am fine. Combined both had over 60 years of experience in neurology field

so my thing is self testing. I self test my strength on right side of the body

I self test my jaw jerk and hyper activity in muscles

but the biggest is checking my tongue at rest inside my mouth in front of a mirror. So i been checking my tongue for few weeks. My tongue feels weird 24/7 on the left side

so today when i check my tongue i saw it trembling/twitching at rest inside my mouth. especially the left side that has been feeling weird, kind of sore like


My thing is could all these doctors have missed something? and does bulbar only affect one side of the tongue? and both my emg's show no spontaneous activity so do i have anything to worry about?

is it normal for tongue to twitch/tremble at rest? am i putting too much stress on my tongue muscles by keep looking at them?

and from January 2015 to october 2015 wouldn't something had progressed if i had something to worry about? also can i get 10-15 normal clinical exams and still have something like this?
