I recently tried this starting with one half of a 15mg Miratazapine tablet.
It certainly reduced the strong tremors from day one.
The downside for me was that I became "drugged" for the following day to the extent that my wife advised I looked stoned all day and became withdrawn and vacant. I reduced my Mirtazapine intake to a quarter of a 15mg tablet per night and still slept for 12 hours and felt stoned the day after.
It appears that I am sensitive to most meds but this Mirtazapine really knocks me over. However it is the only med that has reduced my intense shaking so I will continue with caution. Also the Mirtazapine has improved my mood.
My regular meds are Sinemet Plus at 4 per day and Mirapexin 0.018 at 4 per day. I am 64 with PD for 4 years.

,I guess I must be one of the lucky ones that can tolerate some of the side effect or maybe I just try to power though them. The only thing that has gone to hell with me is my speedh. Sounds like an old Forest Gump
