I know someone who first had lowers removed and dentures put in immediately and then a year or so later the uppers and dentures immediately. She had a pretty easy time of it all in all. I'm sure you'll have to drink liquids and soft foods for a while. This person was glad to have it all done. She had beautiful teeth until years of having babies and too many meds, her teeth suffered. I'm sure your dentist will give you full directions on what you need to do post surgery. My mom had dentures as long as I knew her thinking back a long time ago. You will be fine.
