I call them "good" and "bad" days, too. But what I really mean when I use those polite-to-be-said-in-society words is: I am content to be alive today (or) my quality of life sucks and I wish I wasn't here anymore.
But if you come right out and say anything even remotely like that, people jump all over it. They'll say and do just about anything to get you to quit talking like that. The mere concept of euthanasia is too much for them.
