Hi Xeon

Welcome to NeuroTalk .

My understanding is that Cerebrolysin may offer small improvements to the symptoms of Alzheimer’s disease and vascular dementia. I believe that it is not approved in the USA.

This general information might help you; http://www.alzdiscovery.org/cognitiv...t/cerebrolysin .

As far as I can see the evidence for the efficacy of Cerebrolysin is not conclusive. This is discussed here; http://www.medscape.com/viewarticle/778765 (note that you might have to register (which is free) with Medscape to see the whole article).

All the best.
