I'm going to agree with the above two posts, alcohol and seizures don't mix. Alcohol is a known trigger for seizures, and it also can cause very bad reactions when mixed with AED's.

I was never much of a drinker, but prior to my diagnosis and taking AED's when I did have a few drinks I'd end up blacking out (and I don't drink much, maybe 1-2, no hard drinks, shots, etc.). I had 3 drinks the year before last for my boyfriends birthday and blacked out hitting my shoulder and head in a bathroom. Needless to say, I won't even sniff a drink now.
