Some people find it better to take a smaller amount of the medication more often. Right now I'm taking one and one third tabs of levodopa/carbidopa 100/25 every three hours plus one and a third tabs of Mirapex three times a day. One third tab isn't how they come or are designed to be split but my neuro (a movement disorder specialist) is happy that I custom design my meds for what works the best for me.

I'm 63 and have been dealing with PD since around1999.

My best advice is stay well hydrated, control any constipation, get enough sleep somehow or another, and EXERCISE, EXERCISE, EXERCISE.
