No diagnosis and no relief for left sided weakness
Hi all,
I am a 35 year old professional desperate for answers. I came here seeking help, knowledge and advice. I have been to several neurologists at Kaiser and they can't seem to figure out what is wrong with me. My symptoms are as follows:
-Left sided fatigue (Ie: walking up a hill and my left leg will start to "feel the burn" way sooner than my right leg. Same for my arm.)
-Left sided decreased sensation (like a deep numbness but surface touch is still there. This appears to be marked by an imaginary line down the center of my body, to include my face.)
-Muscle "twitches" more prevalent on left side
-Mid back soreness in left side (which I am guessing is from the muscles fatiguing from holding my trunk upright)
-Favoring placing weight on my right leg when standing or leaning against a wall so no weight is bore on my left side)
-Strength is not affected (but stamina on my left side sucks) when a grip strength test was done. I am a lefty though.
I have had two Nerve conduction studies on my upper left extremity and MRI of my brain, neck and shoulder that were all normal. They assure me I dont have MS but as for any other conditions they have ruled out, I'm not sure.
Does anyone have anything similar? What is this and what can be done? Thanks.
