Thanks for posting this article.

I read it yesterday and it's relevant to many conversations I've read in the past on some of the forums where I participate. Especially my autism forums with regard to prescription of the neuroleptics/antipsychotic medications.

I'm not in the USA but I've suspected it happens here a lot as well. Sometimes medications are also prescribed off label. We found that here when certain meds. that a specialist physician, e.g. Neurologist or Neuropsychiatrist, prescribed it didn't have to go through Health Department checks, but if the local General Practitioner prescribed, they needed to get on the spot approval from the State Health Dept..
