Question Anyone Here Know About OWCP?

Hi, I'm brand new to this forum and saw this group just now. I'm not familiar with how to get around to different posts yet, but I notice most of these posts are about state workers' compensation.

I am a federal worker (rural mail carrier) (please, no "postal" jokes ~ remember we're the victims of the crazies ) and therefore my workers' comp is the Office of Workers' Compensation Programs (OWCP) which is overseen by the U.S. Department of Labor and ruled by the Federal Employees' Compensation Act (FECA) law. It's a whole 'nuther ball of wax, and not too fun to be an injured federal worker. We are workers in lots of trades, not just the post office. Certain longshoremen, nurses, veterans, firemen, policemen... anyone who is paid by the federal government falls under OWCP if/when they get injured.

Anyway, I just wondered if there was anyone else here struggling with OWCP? Thanks ~ Cher
