Default Did I whiplash myself or is it the glasses? Or both?

Hello everybody,

I was doing better but have relapsed. I am not quite sure what did it, so I hope you can help me.

Saturday morning I was lying in my bed and reading on my smartphone. I was lying flat down with my head and neck bent forward with a pillow behind so I could read (I know this is a bad position when you have an upper neck injury - but sometimes I forget).

My son came running and sat on me which made me push my head/neck backwards. It was not a violent push, only a little one, but I felt a little pull in the neck muscles and that my neck got streched.

Afterwards I felt a little more confused than usual but I thought that was because I have had a very stressful week.

A few hours after the neck episode, I picked up my new glasses at the optometrician. My optometrist had warned me, that it could take a few days to get used to the new glasses, although the strength is almost like my previous ones.

I have tried to use the new glasses carefully but since then, I have increasing dizziness and brain fog. Its a sailing sensation with fatigue and tiredness around my eyes. Also a little headache and nauseous.

My first question is - can I have given myself a new neck injury or aggravated the old one? Are there any of you who have tried something similar - how long did it take? I am now pretty nervous because the symptoms is similar to the ones I had when I first got a whiplash injury.

My second question is whether the symptoms are from the new glasses?

I hope some of you can help with insight:-(
