B12 injected remains in the serum for about 72 hours. So injecting every day may not be necessary. A study showed about 150mcg absorbed from 1000mcg injection. So using 100mcg may not work well.

I would get the DNA testing for MTHFR mutations. If you have this problem, the cyano form would not be a good choice for you.
Methylcobalamin or hydroxocobalamin may be needed instead.
10-30% of people have this mutation and cannot activate cyano to its active forms.

If all of your terminal ileum is gone, you will have to use injections from now on.
