Thanks for those links Jo*mar. I agree that avoiding processed foods and refined sugar foods are both good plans.

In my view healthy eating involves eating a wide range of natural foods, all in moderation.

These include (in no special order): fruit, vegetables, sources of slow-release (low GI) carbohydrates - eg, brown rice, fish, eggs, cheese, white meat, nuts, pulses and red meat in moderation.

In my opinion eating in this way will meet the body's nutritional needs well, with no need (unless medical issues indicate otherwise), for nutritional supplements.
