Not sure if this is relevant, but my thought patterns definitely change following overstimulation or too much activity... it's literally like a switch goes off. Once this happens, I'm darker and prone increased issues with frustration and anger.
Distraction and removal from a situation are my primary coping strategies, along with avoiding the triggering issue in the first place. Proactive tension reduction practices (mediation, deep breathing, etc) are supposed to be helpful, but are only minimally effective for me. Others, as posted earlier, seem to have more success with these.
