I was diagnosed with Idiopathic (grrrr) Peripheral Neuropathy about a year and a half ago. I'm in my early thirties with no other health concerns so this really seemed to come out of no where.
I do trust in my neuro and the multitude of tests he ran to exclude other underlying causes but I'm still left with no answers. I went gluten free January of 2015 and really started feeling some relief in symptoms-- even went MONTHS without having symptoms.
I recently got pregnant and have been feeling fine, nerve-wise up until I got my flu shot at about 12 weeks(regretting about a month ago. Since then, I've gotten the bee stings, twitches and burning sensations back. I made an appointment with my neuro and mentioned the flu shot theory and he seemed to shoot it down and assume it was more to do with my pregnancy.
Soooo, has anyone:
1.) Felt relief for months and then had periods of symptoms returning?
2.) Been pregnant and had symptoms worsen
3.) Had symptoms worsen immediately after flu shot
If you have any other suggestions on what to push my neuro on, I'm happy to hear them
Thanks in advance!
