There are a zillion things that can be taken to the limit of experimentation and there is no defined limit to what man is capable of.

That being said we do not have the power to influence what is going on behind the closed doors of any laboratory be they public or private and that is where all we can do is remain vigillant and hope for the best.

Not much different then it has ever been but far more reaching in the scope of it's either promise or jeopardy for us all.

I guess Venter surprised me a bit when he started his patent applications but then I guess I wasn't as much surprised as fearfull as to what his intents were.

But I read the other day of robots at an exhibition or something that went out of control and started to fight. Man programmed them.


So no surprises any more.
