I think it may depend on whether the lab is in house or a mail-away. My pcp does labs inhouse and they are not good, I can't find out anything, it's all up to the pcp to tell me anything and then its just a "your fine". On the other hand, my Endo mails the blood to a big lab and they mail back papers that have a parameter scale and where your blood is on the scale. You can tell how you are by a glance. b-12,d-3 A1c, I guess whatever the Endo can request. So if I have a doubt I ask the Endo to find out for me. Good Luck, Ken in Texas.
