I think I agree with you somewhat. Shingles comes from chicken pox - both of which are herpes zoster. Info I found linked all this to this itch, but none of it mentioned a time span or effective treatment relief. Over 2 months now and the same places keep appearing with terrible itching - then totally disappearing until maybe a week later. 0ver and over. Never all at the same time but constantly a few.

When you get this, how long does it last and what helps you?
