Cool Smirk

Hi bizi,

There is a point when you realise enough is enough. When you see that the positives of not drinking outweigh the negatives of drinking, when you see that the personality change you experience when you have been drinking is an unsustainable crutch.

I have been where you are, used to drink (A LOT), but all the time, to drown out the Anxiety and make socialising possible. I had a very high tolerance, never got drunk even after consuming amounts which would put most people under the table.

The story of my awakening is personal and very ugly, but in one moment I vowed never to touch another drop. That was over 25 years ago and I have never missed alcohol, no matter what path my life has taken, no matter how bad my Anxiety and Panic Attacks have been.

When the time is right for you to stop drinking, you will start an AF period and never go back.

Dave.
