Blessed...
I had almost the exact same experience as you at the Atlas Chiro. that I went to. I have continued dizziness, fatigue and vision problems along with a lot of neck tension and inflammation. I wanted to explore the possibility of the upper neck being the cause of some of my symptoms.
The Chiro. only did the atlas adjustment with the same machine you are talking about. Even after I repeatedly asked him to work on the soft tissue to relieve the tension, he still would only do the adjustment and insist that the muscles would release over time.
I began to get very skeptical and the adjustments did not help with my symptoms. I also realized that he would ask me how I was feeling at the beginning of the appointment, and if I said good, then he would feel my neck and say that I held my adjustment. If I said I was feeling bad, he would then feel my neck and say it was because I didn't hold my adjustment.
I stopped going after a while. Maybe it helps some people, but honestly I don't understand why a lot of people on this forum suggest going to see Atlas chiros. That's just my opinion.
Good luck.
