Welcome to NeuroTalk. It sounds like he may have a concussion. It sounds like he is already doing all he can. he should be limiting activity and stimulation, loud music, etc. He should avoid alcohol and caffeine.
If his headache get intense or he struggles to speak or loses his motor control or balance, he should be taken to the Emergency Room right away (A&E)
