Good morning indigo :)
That sounds extremely painful to me. I'm so sorry you are having these issues.
I have problems with my hands but not the symptoms you are having. The bottoms of my feet are always very shiny and the skin is smooth and very tight.
Try the Epsom Salt soak as mrsD has suggested and hopefully it will help your hands quite a bit.
