Dear Nikko,

Glad you clarified that the Nasonex went in your nose and not in your ear. I was beginning to wonder where your doctor got his MD. Ear pain can be excruciating. Mine is usually taken care of by Keflex. If the membranes are swolen, you have to force a wick past them to get the med to reach the infected area, which can be even more painful than the infection itself. As for the migraines, if the triptains like Imitrex can't be used, the analgesic of last resort is Stadol, a heay-duty narcotic inhalant, (one use doses), that almost always works if all else fails. Don't know the contraindications regarding mania, however.
