I have essential tremor and find that asleep I dont tremor but on waking shake quite a bit until it settles. I have thyroid problems too and there is a specific tremor that goes with thyroid, but its overactive thryoid, mine is underactive. I take a betablocker which diminishes it significantly. Could it be low blood sugar? All the best anyway.
