My results (5/5/2015):
Sweat Gland Nerve Fiber Density
A. Rt Calf: 30.4 (Less than 36.5 is considered abnormal)
(this is where the diagnosis of small fiber neuropathy came from)
B. Rt Thigh: (the biopsy did not yield a readable sample, but since the calf showed it that was enough for diagnosis they said.)
Epidermal Nerve Fiber Density
A. Rt Thigh: 10.08 (less than 6.2 considered abnormal - below 6.8 is low normal)
B. Rt Calf: 5.41 (less than 3.7 considered abnormal - below 4.5 is low normal)
I know that doesn't look so bad, but I am in great pain every day.
