Yes, I have had cataracts removed form both eyes with lense implants. My yearly check ups, well except last year which I missed, have showed my left eye getting worse each year and he suspected I would need laser on that cataract bed. Now I really, really need it. But it's the right eye that is the problem. I have posterior vitreous detachment. So the vitreous has kind of all leaked out which is causing me to see it as floaters. And believe me it is driving me crazy. All sorts of weird things floating around in my eye. And then there is the 'dirt'. He said the surgeon can suck all that vitreous out and replace it. If that doesn't work then it is a more extensive surgery that I don't even want to think about. I remember it all to well from my nursing years and I guess it hasn't changed much. Office is supposed to call me tomorrow with an appointment for the specialist to examine my eyes.
