Sam, the therapist sounds absolutely perfect!!!
You are very lucky to have found a psychologist in your area who specializes in exactly the kind of intervention you need. I am so happy to hear this news!!!

I know that the 15days seems like a long way away when you are feeling so unwell, but it may be easier if you view this time as if you are working towards a goal. There IS a light at the end of the tunnel... please try to look for it...

The first appointment is not going to give you your life back all at once. It will take work and time. You will face challenges between appointments, but you will receive help and skills in therapy to get your life back on track. At some point, the challenges you face in between appointments will be easier because you will be able to apply what you learn in therapy to your life.

I agree with Littlepaw. A change to your routine, no matter how small, may help get you out of your funk and at least may make the time pass by more quickly.

I know that things must be very difficult, but please try to be patient. I have no doubt that good things are going to come your way- starting in two weeks
