Any injury to the area, a bump or , maybe bone spurs?
Have you had it X rayed to check for bone issue?
Do you have any spine issues that might be related to this pain?
Any MRI report?
But usually would only be a factor if a nerve is affected at spinal level.
If nothing shows up as a cause , perhaps a expert chiropractor evaluation? (maybe one with low level laser)
My chiro really helped a lot when I had a Plantar fasciitis problem.
He did foot/ankle adjustments, massage & some laser treatments..
