I should add that most of the hand therapy was geared toward muscle contractures. What helped eventually with the pain was amitriptyline (also the therapist's suggestion). I hope you get relief soon if you do have RSD. That pain is awful. I had to wear short sleeves through the winter because it hurt so much for anything to touch my skin.
