Question for the Experts
Hello!
I am turning to the help of others who have been through the same kinds of procedures in hopes of an answer.
I had a 7mm supracliniod aneurysm which was treated with two pipeline embolization stents. The procedure was a complete success, as the angiogram done in late November showed.
What I cannot seem to get from my doctors now, however, is what I can or cannot DO. For the last year I was restricted in activity because they worried about it. Now I need to trim off the pounds that have lovingly wrapped my torso and heinie, but I can't seem to get advice from my docs!
I know that my scuba diving days are over. That's fine. But can I ski? That's exercise at altitude, not the same as just walking or jogging. Can I do wind sprints? Lift weights? How much weight?
This is so frustrating. I need to get back in shape, but I really don't want to risk another bubble in the brain.
Help!
