Default occipital neuralgia- new pain on back of neck

Hello, I have occipital neuralgia, for the past 3 months or so I have been having a new pain on my neck, and I’m trying to figure out if it is related to my occipital neuralgia.
I have an area on the back of my neck, left side about 1.5 inches below the base of my skull, that has a dull, pressure type pain. It almost feels like a numb pain, like the area that hurts is numb, but i can touch it and feel the touch, it’s a very weird feeling. It is very noticeable, and irritating. I usually notice it when i am sitting (I work on a computer all day), but also at any point during without doing anything specific.

I thought at first it was a muscle pain of some type, and went and got a massage and it did absolutely nothing for it. At times the pain feels a lot like the pain i feel on my other side of my neck that is from my occipital neuralgia, so that makes me think that this new pain is related to my occipital neuralgia, but the area of the pain, and at times the type of pain is a little different than my other area.

Does anyone else have this type of pain related to their occipital neuralgia? Like i said, it is a dull, almost numb pain, feeling of pressure in that area, but constant.
