I'm sorry to hear that, Caroline. I almost feel that the slow pace should be criminal. Of course, there are reason for it, safeguards and all, but not always, and often there are political or financial reasons for such things. Regardless, I wish more of the treatments and new drugs we read about could be made available to us. I'd gladly sign a legal waiver.

I would try stem cell too, right now in fact, but I wouldn't be able to afford it either. If I knew it would work, then I'd even take out a loan to do it, but that's just not a reality.
