I've been studying and thinking hard about healing oils a lot lately.

I've come to the conclusion that it's best to really make a conscious, concerted effort to get them mostly from food first.

All kinds of studies show that we absorb omega3s so much better from foods than from fish oil supplements.

So I'm making a sincere effort to track and include all kinds of natural omega3 foods, such as wild salmon roe, salmon, sardines, trout, etc.

Keep in mind that fish oil is blood thinning, if you are combining large doses with other medications and blood thinning foods.

Also reducing omega6s is an important part of the picture.

I am also really warming up to hemp oil because it's one of the only nerve healing oils where the omega 3/6/9 ratio matches what the human body needs.
