This fish oil I am talking about is "fish body oil".... NOT cod liver oil.

I do not recommend cod liver oil...as it is derived from the liver of the fish, where all the toxins are.

Fish oil is typically the term used in US for fish body oils.
Fish (body) oils do not have Vitamin D or A in them. So they can be taken in increased doses as needed.

Cod liver oil contains some EPA and DHA (as in fish body oils), but much less as a rule. The Vitamin A content is the deciding factor on dosing. Usually only one a day is considered safe in regards to Vit A content. This is real Vitamin A (retinol), not betacarotene that comes from plants and vegetables.
