You know the first night will be sweet, but the second night will be tough. It's that silence after the storm that is hard to deal with. Stay strong !

Keep yourself busy the first week or two, keep everyone informed about how you are doing... and it's o.k. to cry! It's good to cry! It's o.k. to miss him! It's NORMAL to miss him! It's NOT normal to miss the drinking and the abuse and the bad stuff. Remember, he is not the sweet wonderful guy that you wish he was, he is the guy that takes advantage of you now and doesn't care that you have to sit at work for two hours and wait for him to pick you up, or walk home even after you gave him gas money to pick you up... and then he yells at you anyway when you complain about it....

It's HARD to be alone... but it gets easier! This is when you call ALL your girlfriends, you email all your buddies, and you bore all of us with all the things in your life. You can personally email all of us any time you want and we will email you back! We will all be here help you through this. MANY of us have been through this and we understand how hard it is. We will be here for you! We will listen, and let you cry on our screens!
