Hi London Lady

Just a note in case you missed it on other threads - it's important that you stop taking the multi-vitamins for a few days before any blood tests as they can produce false elevated readings - especially the B12 - MrsD would concur.

I noticed your comment about another poster being vegan - are you also vegan? (sorry may have missed reading that) - your need for B12 supplementation may be higher. Also check if the B12 in your multi-vitamin is methylcobalamin and not the cyanocobalamin form which is less readily absorbed.

All the best for your neuro appt.
