I think you need to see a doctor. PAD occurs in the legs and is worse with walking. This might be ischemic pain. (starving the tissue of oxygen)
It could also be tendonitis.
You should mention the statin use... as this affects muscle functions. A nutrient called CoQ-10 is blocked by statins, so taking a good form of this ( like Qunol or Qgel 100mg a day)
may help restore this vital nutrient that statins destroy.
While you are at the doctor's, ask for a vitamin D level, and B12 level. (theB12 should be at least 400pg/ml and not lower).
