David, I hear you and for me, the science is my body and how I'm doing. I know what has caused my issues and seek out all I can to manage and not do more damage. We are in control and can't go back and work on today and as best we can for the future. Thank goodness for the "net" and all the wealth of info we can consider. Before the net I bought books and used my healing books. I didn't get on the net until 2005...so late I'm sure considering MOST here.
