So that's the cause of my 'senility'
I was erroneously put on omaprazole for misdiagnosed reflux before my Addison's diagnosis!

I don't mean to be flippant about Alzheimer's but it was interesting to read the statistic about 70% of the prescriptions being inappropriate. I've also read elsewhere that as many as 15% of people in care for dementia and/or Alzheimer's are incorrectly diagnosed - similarly many of those in care are inappropriately prescribed tranquilizers or antidepressants solely to make them easier to look after with fewer staff.
