Hey No, the symptoms have been happening on and off for a few years now. I had attributed them to something else, but it finally twigged for me a couple of days ago, at the start of this most recent 'episode', that that clearly wasn't the case.

I took a little time to REALLY notice what was going on with me, and then searched up on it, which led me to Vestibular Hyperacusis. I have and/or had several of the possible causative factors including Meniere's Disease (I've been in remission from that for a long time), Bell's Palsy, chronic ear infections, depression, anxiety, tinnitus, ear irrigation, etc. I'm not declaring I have it, but from what I've read so far it looks like it's a distinct possibility.

The progression seems to have sped up quite a bit recently, and now that I have an idea what's causing it I can actually do something about it
