I'm sorry to hear things aren't going to well. It sounds to me like your Dr. is taking his/her sweet time. When I had my veeg done I knew the results before I was discharged from the hospital.
My personal opionion is that it would be a good idea to have a Spect and Pet scan done like the Dr. mentioned these 2 tests will show how the blood flow is in the brain, and if there's any problems going on like a tumor, infection, sz. activity etc. I had both of these tests done before surgery and found them amazing on how they showed all the activity going on in my brain.
