Bolded - that is great news!!!!
As I suggested previously, check w/your local Social Service Office. Your area could have programs to help you out w/your taxes for those on "fixed" incomes as well as resources for seniors/disabled. As for your adult son you helped out, he (or wife) should do the same if he has not already done so.
