Kk,

If the pain has subsided and there is minimal to no swelling and you are not getting any oozing pus or blood from or near that site, and these symptoms do not reoccur, then you can wait til Saturday to see the oral surgeon.

Regarding the white coloration: What are using to rinse with? Are you using mouthwash? Do you smoke? Are you eating on that side of your mouth? Are you brushing and flossing all of your other teeth twice a day?

I called and he said that it was okay. So I was having pain every 7 hours just takig ibuprofen and the amoxicillin. Day 2 now since it has been repacked. The packing came off yesterday and the wound seems smaller but still white. I called again today but they cannot see me as they are fully booked as well and tomorrow I have work so they will see me on Saturday. Is this too long to wait to be seen?
