Baddog, I have never been on Cymbalta but was on Remeron for a while. For me it was worse than useless - suicidal ideation, no attempts. What I am on now is, for me, great.
I think this is quite common - finding the "right" antidepressant for the "right" person can take a while.
I hope that you find one which works well for you.
