Too much sleep is counter to recovery. Quality normal amounts of sleep are best. Quiet rest is good meaning low levels of stimulation with moderate physical effort.
I had no choice but to sleep for two years. It takes time to heal. I am almost back 100% now. At the time I couldn't see or use my hands.
