21mom,

You need to demand an IEP, Individualized Education Plan or 504 plan.

Since this was a school injury, the team should get her to a Neuro Psychologist or Ed Psychologist who can assess her for these issues and set up an 'authorized' set of limitations and accommodations.

As Bud said, you should be screaming mad if you can do it without causing more trouble.

I had a similar problem 45 years ago. Neuro's report, school nurse told the teachers. The teachers gave me no slack. I crashed during tests.

She should have a number of accommodations. No tests or extended testing time. Right to walk from class to class before or after the crowds to avoid the noise and chaos. Note taking help. Tutors. Preferred seating in class (front of the class).

With proper accommodations, she should continue to recover.

My best to you both.
