I know of pilot's flying with Parkinson's, so have a Parkinson's DX doesn't disqualify anyone from driving.

For Flying we always used "I'M SAFE" as a mental checklist on when not to fly.

There will be a point when you are no longer able to drive, but that is a hard call. Nothing wrong with taking a "senior refresher driving class".

One of the companies I worked with in the USA is based in France. They have a "on site safety driving instructor". Yes, you go for a 30 minute drive for an evaluation, and it is more interactive on how to avoid accidents. Irony is everyone backs into the parking spots at the office, reason being you are much more alert and aware of surroundings when arriving at you location. As you leave since you pull forward, less likely to have an accident. So worth while (I still back into spots when possible).

I do use GOOGLE MAPS with VOICE when I am driving to a new location. Just handy reminder to take exit 17 in half mile..... Phone remains in the console, never in my hand.
