Fussing with clothes is difficult. "Accessorizing" is difficult. Clothes that need dry cleaning are difficult.
I don't wear jewelry any more because tinkering with tiny hooks and clasps is difficult. An earring would fall off my ear and I wouldn't notice it. Jewelry seems to weigh me down--it's not comfortable to wear it.
I try to go easy on myself. People often dress up because they think it's expected. I believe in making an exception for myself on the grounds of MS.
We're special people. We have a neurological disorder that does strange unexpected things to us, and we're stuck with that disorder. We deserve some special accommodations even if we have to create them for ourselves.
Giving up on dressy clothes unless they're comfortable and easy to care for is one way I've been easy on myself.
